Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working as an Occupational Therapist supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Plainfield, IL. Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Illinois Previous experience working in a school, pediatric, or educational setting strongly preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams (teachers, counselors, administrators) Strong organizational and communication skills Commitment to supporting student growth and positive outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy programs for students Evaluate students strengths and needs through direct services and observations Collaborate with educators and families to support classroom participation and daily activities Document services and progress following school and regulatory standards Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals Provide consultative support to staff, adapting interventions as needed for optimal impact
