Step into a full-time, onsite position (37.5 hours/week) where you'll deliver services in both self-contained and resource classrooms. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (Illinois credentials preferred) Experience working with elementary and middle school students, ideally within a school-based setting Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to support students in both resource and self-contained environments Adaptability and eagerness to engage in ongoing professional growth
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services as part of IEP implementation for students in varied learning settings Collaborate with teachers, fellow therapists, and staff during monthly meetings and roundtable discussions Utilize equipment and standardized testing materials for comprehensive student evaluations Participate actively in orientation and regular 1:1 and team meetings with supervisors and leaders Engage in annual performance reviews and process improvement initiatives to uphold best practices Stay connected with peers across the region through an interactive intranet platform This is the ideal opportunity to foster your expertise in a supportive environment, with easy access to supervisors and collaborative professional community.
