Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current Illinois Occupational Therapy (OT) license is required Experience working with early childhood or pediatric populations is highly preferred Familiarity with school-based OT practices and collaborative approaches Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and contribute within a multidisciplinary team Compliance with all state and district requirements for school-based practitioners
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for early childhood students Deliver direct and consultative OT services in alignment with IEP goals Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to foster student success Maintain detailed records and contribute to student progress reporting Implement adaptive strategies and modifications to support access to the curriculum Contribute to the development of a positive, inclusive classroom environment
