Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students as an Occupational Therapist near Saint Charles, IL. This onsite position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic school environment. You'll work full-time, providing essential OT services during the fall semester. Your assignment will run from September 1, 2026, through January 15, 2027. The caseload consists of motivated high school students who benefit from your expertise in fostering independence, participation, and daily living skills. You'll collaborate with a supportive education team to create and implement effective treatment plans while ensuring all students have access to the occupational therapy services they need to succeed.
Qualifications:
Valid and active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license required Previous experience in a school-based setting is essential Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work onsite—remote work is not available for this position COTAs are not being considered for this assignment
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess students to develop individualized occupational therapy goals Deliver direct OT services to high school students according to IEPs Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student progress Document all services, progress, and updates in compliance with local and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions This full-time contract position places you at the heart of a learning community eager for your support and expertise.
