Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a school-based team in East Aurora, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping students develop the skills needed to succeed academically, socially, and independently within the educational environment. The Occupational Therapist will provide services to students in both resource and self-contained classroom settings, collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Position Responsibilities Evaluate students and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals Support students with fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, self-care, and functional school skills Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families regarding student progress Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records Recommend adaptive equipment, accommodations, and classroom strategies as needed
