Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist III Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients of all ages and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on clinical assessments, functional needs, and patient goals. Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions while modifying treatment plans as appropriate to maximize functional independence and patient outcomes. Monitor patient progress, document treatment effectiveness, and adjust interventions to ensure safe, high-quality rehabilitation services. Serve as a role model in the delivery of professional occupational therapy services while acting as a clinical resource for staff and students. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist III Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. Current Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). Knowledge of occupational therapy evaluation techniques, treatment planning, rehabilitation principles, and patient care.
