Job Description

Step into a rewarding full-time contract role supporting students across a welcoming school district near Bedford, IN. Qualifications and Experience:

Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program State of Indiana OT license (or eligibility for licensure prior to start date) Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills Ability to travel between multiple school locations within the district Capacity to adapt strategies to individual student needs and school environments Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across district schools, focusing on functional, academic, and social participation Evaluate students' needs; develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals in and out of the classroom Travel between district schools—primarily five elementary campuses, with periodic support of middle and high schools within a manageable 13-mile area Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in IEP meetings and help determine proper accommodations and supports This position offers a unique opportunity to grow professionally while working with a diverse student population.
