Outpatient Orthopedics / Hand Therapy Staffing Strategies is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) for an outpatient orthopedic opportunity in Brownsburg, Indiana . This position is ideal for an Occupational Therapist with previous hand and upper-extremity therapy experience who is looking for a flexible part-time opportunity in an orthopedic setting. Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification is NOT required. However, candidates must have previous experience evaluating and treating patients with hand and upper-extremity conditions. This is a contract position through Staffing Strategies . Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with hand, wrist, elbow, and upper-extremity conditions Develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care Provide rehabilitation following orthopedic injuries and surgical procedures Utilize therapeutic exercise, functional activities, manual techniques, and other appropriate interventions Assist patients in restoring strength, mobility, dexterity, and functional use of the upper extremity Provide patient education and individualized home exercise programs Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the orthopedic care team Provide high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the rehabilitation process Qualifications Active Indiana Occupational Therapist license required Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Previous hand and/or upper-extremity therapy experience required CHT certification is not required Outpatient orthopedic experience strongly preferred Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills Excellent communication and patient-care skills Ability to work effectively within a collaborative orthopedic environment Compensation & Schedule $50-$55 per hour Part-time hours Contract position through Staffing Strategies Outpatient orthopedic setting Flexible part-time opportunity No CHT certification requirement Why Consider This Opportunity?
