Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) - Skilled Nursing / Rehab Staffing Strategies is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) for a contract opportunity serving skilled nursing and rehabilitation patients throughout the South Bend / Mishawaka / Elkhart, Indiana area . This position offers up to full-time hours and is ideal for an Occupational Therapist looking for flexibility, competitive compensation and the opportunity to make an immediate impact.

Rehabilitation Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care Provide skilled interventions to improve independence, mobility and performance of activities of daily living Establish measurable goals and monitor patient progress Develop and modify treatment and discharge plans as appropriate Educate patients, families and caregivers Supervise and collaborate with COTAs as appropriate Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with nursing, therapy and interdisciplinary teams to promote quality outcomes

Qualifications:

Active Indiana Occupational Therapist license Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current CPR/BLS certification preferred SNF, LTC or rehabilitation experience preferred Strong clinical assessment, communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team If you're an OT looking for a $55/hour contract opportunity with the potential for full-time hours , we'd love to hear from you.
