Full-Time Hours Available Setting:
Skilled Nursing / Rehabilitation Looking for flexibility while still having access to consistent therapy hours? Rehab Strategies is growing throughout Indiana and seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. This is a PRN opportunity with the potential for consistent or full-time hours , depending on your availability and desired schedule. You'll work with patients in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment, helping them regain the functional skills and independence needed to return to everyday activities and improve their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care Provide skilled treatment focused on improving functional independence Address activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding Assess upper-extremity strength, coordination, range of motion, and functional abilities Provide adaptive equipment recommendations and training Develop measurable goals and monitor patient progress Modify treatment plans based on clinical progress and patient needs Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, physicians, families, and other members of the interdisciplinary team Educate patients and caregivers regarding strategies to maximize independence Participate in discharge planning and recommendations
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Active Indiana Occupational Therapist license or ability to obtain Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, geriatric, or post-acute experience preferred Strong clinical and documentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively New graduates are welcome to apply Why Rehab Strategies? Pay:
$50.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 40.0 per week
