Muncie, IN Staffing Strategies is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our therapy team supporting healthcare facilities in the Muncie, Indiana area. This PRN opportunity offers a flexible schedule with the potential to work up to full-time hours based on your availability and facility needs. This position provides the opportunity to work in a variety of rehabilitation settings, including skilled nursing facilities, inpatient rehabilitation, and hospital-based care , helping patients regain independence and improve their ability to perform everyday activities.

00/hour (based on experience) Flexible PRN scheduling Up to full-time hours available Paid drive time after the first 30 minutes each way between your home and assigned facility Weekly pay Supportive local therapy team Opportunity for consistent, ongoing assignments Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans. Provide skilled occupational therapy services to improve patients' independence with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, upper extremity function, cognition, and overall quality of life. Establish functional goals and modify treatment plans based on patient progress. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, home safety, and discharge recommendations. Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy team members, and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Current Indiana Occupational Therapist (OTR) license in good standing. Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, hospital, or post-acute care preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and patient care skills. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned service area. Why Staffing Strategies?
