Staffing Strategies is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) for a hospital-based therapy opportunity in Peru, Indiana . This position is available on either a part-time or full-time basis and offers competitive compensation of $40-45 per hour . The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with patients and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to improve functional independence, safety and quality of life.

Rehabilitation Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care Provide skilled interventions to improve ADLs and functional independence Address strength, coordination, mobility, safety and adaptive needs Establish measurable goals and monitor patient progress Modify treatment plans based on patient response and clinical needs Educate patients, families and caregivers Provide guidance and supervision to COTAs when applicable Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, nursing, rehabilitation and other members of the interdisciplinary team Participate in discharge planning and recommendations as appropriate

Qualifications:

Active Indiana Occupational Therapist license Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

NBCOT/OTR

credential as applicable Current BLS/CPR certification preferred Hospital, inpatient, outpatient or rehabilitation experience preferred Strong communication, clinical assessment and documentation skills
