Job Description
Education and Formal Training :
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited academic institution required Master's degree preferred Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of North Carolina required BLS certification requiredWork Experience :
None Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required :
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language Strong interpersonal skills Good written and verbal ability Exercises flexibility, good clinical judgment and problem-solving skills Works effectively in a team-oriented environment Demonstrates respect in all communication Problem solves in an ethical and effective mannerPhysical Requirements :
Ability to communicate orally, read, write, hear, and visually assess patient status Ability to utilize proper body mechanics when examining or delivering care Ability to transfer and transport patients of various body weight and composition Ability to stand, bend, stoop, lift, turn, twist, sit and walk frequently Ability to demonstrate proper use of and manipulate equipment Required Licenses and CertificationsOT/L - NC
