90-95% Outpatient OT Clinic | 5-10% Inpatient Services Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our interdisciplinary patient care team. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide goal-directed interventions designed to improve patients' ability to perform daily activities and achieve greater independence. The therapist will primarily work in an outpatient OT clinic , with occasional inpatient coverage. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive, individualized occupational therapy evaluations. Develop customized, goal-directed treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities and independence in daily activities. Monitor patient progress and periodically reassess treatment goals. Modify intervention plans as needed based on patient performance and clinical outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, therapeutic activities, and home programs. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Provide inpatient OT coverage approximately 5-10% of the time. Follow applicable clinical, regulatory, and safety standards.
Schedule & Coverage Monday-Friday:
8:00 AM-5:00
PM Weekend:
1 weekend approximately every 6-7 weeks
Holiday:

None Work Setting:
Primarily outpatient OT clinic with limited inpatient coverage. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required. Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) preferred. Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license through the applicable State Board of Healing Arts. AHA BLS certification required. Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Preferred Qualifications Experience in outpatient occupational therapy preferred. Experience with inpatient services is a plus. Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification preferred. Candidates who currently have or are willing to pursue additional training toward Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification are highly encouraged to apply.
