We are seeking a caring and motivated Occupational Therapist who wants to make a meaningful impact in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. In this role, you'll help residents regain independence, improve daily functioning, and rediscover quality of life — all while working with a collaborative, supportive team that truly values your expertise. Evaluate and treat residents with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care using evidencebased practice Provide skilled, medically necessary OT interventions to promote recovery and functional independence Administer rehabilitation techniques including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Evaluate treatment outcomes and recommend modifications or referrals Educate residents, families, caregivers, and staff regarding treatment goals and progress Communicate effectively with the Director of Rehabilitation Services and interdisciplinary team Complete timely, accurate documentation and record treatment minutes per regulatory requirements Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries Participate in care conferences, rehab meetings, trainings, and inservices Supervise and support OT assistants, rehab aides, and students as assigned Maintain compliance with NBCOT, AOTA, Kansas practice acts , ethical standards, and facility policies This position reports directly to the Director of Rehabilitation Services .
