Kansas Role Overview:
As a pediatric OT, you will help patients develop fine motor skills, adapt to physical or cognitive challenges, or access appropriate educational tools and techniques. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.
Key Responsibilities:
? Assess patients' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans. Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with patients' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals. Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to patients' unique needs. Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications.
