Allied OneSource Education (Contract Position) Allied OneSource Education is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for an exciting school-based opportunity in Kansas City, Kansas . This position will support students within elementary school settings , helping them develop the skills needed to succeed both academically and independently throughout their school day. As a contracted School Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate student needs and provide therapeutic services that enhance participation in educational activities and daily routines. Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' functional and educational needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student success Recommend accommodations, modifications, adaptive equipment, and strategies to improve student participation Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and therapy records Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, self-help, and classroom participation skills Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations Qualifications Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy required Current Kansas Occupational Therapist license required School-based experience preferred, but not required Knowledge of special education processes, evaluations, and IEP services preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team Position Details Full-time school-based assignment Elementary school caseloads Immediate start available Weekly pay Competitive compensation Ongoing support from Allied OneSource throughout your assignment Why Allied OneSource? From $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
