Overview PRN Responsibilities + Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations in an acute inpatient setting to assess functional limitations and rehabilitation needs + Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on ADLs, mobility, strength, and independence + Provide hands-on therapy interventions including neurological rehab, orthopedic recovery, and functional training + Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case management, and interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes and discharge planning + Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and safety strategies + Document patient progress, goals, and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and EMR requirements + Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, infection control policies, and quality care initiatives Qualifications + Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy. + Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license. + Current BCLS ( AHA ) certificate. + National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC preferred.
