At PWR Physio and King Therapy , we're growing our adult rehabilitation programs and are looking for a compassionate, motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. Our clinics offer a welcoming, team-oriented environment where you'll work alongside experienced physical, occupational, and speech therapists to help adults regain independence and improve their quality of life. What You'll Treat Our outpatient occupational therapists work with adults experiencing: Orthopedic injuries and post-operative rehabilitation Hand and upper extremity conditions Shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand pain Neurological disorders including Parkinson's disease, stroke, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, and balance disorders Arthritis and chronic pain Functional limitations affecting daily living Lymphedema (training available) Cognitive and visual-perceptual impairments General deconditioning and age-related functional decline Depending on your interests and experience, you'll also have opportunities to help develop specialty programs such as hand therapy and neurological rehabilitation. Most therapists treat approximately 8-10 patients during an 8-hour day , and we intentionally avoid the high-volume environments common in many outpatient practices. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current Kansas and/or Missouri Occupational Therapy license (or eligible) Current NBCOT certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for helping adults regain independence New graduates are encouraged to apply; outpatient experience is a plus Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is welcomed but not required: Hand therapy Neurological rehabilitation Parkinson's disease treatment Orthopedic rehabilitation Splint fabrication Lymphedema management Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) About Us PWR Physio and King Therapy are locally owned outpatient therapy practices serving the Kansas City area.

Proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic health records (EHR) management to ensure accurate case management.
