9651665-66215 Job Description Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist supporting students across multiple educational settings in the Kansas City, KS area. Collaborate with dedicated educators and make a meaningful impact on students functional independence and participation within the school environment. In this role, youll serve a diverse caseload of 50-60 students, tailoring services to meet their individual needs. Enjoy the autonomy to craft your own daily schedule, typically visiting between 1 and 3 schools per day from an inspiring group of campuses. Youll provide expert assessment, intervention, and consultative services while coordinating closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Desired Qualifications:

Must maintain active Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of Kansas Previous experience in school/settings or strong passion for pediatric therapy Ability to manage a moderate-to-large caseload seamlessly Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills Adaptable, dependable, and able to work independently across sites

Key Responsibilities:

Complete evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs Deliver direct and consultative OT services, supporting student success in academics and daily activities Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support holistic student development Maintain accurate progress notes and contribute to IEP meetings Travel to assigned schools as scheduled This contract runs through the end of the 2026-2027 academic year, offering flexibility and variety in your daily routine.
