9651665-66212 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing school-based occupational therapy services in a supportive educational environment. In this position, youll work with a diverse caseload of 50-60 students across several local campusesCamber, Bridges Academy, New Chelsea Elementary, Emerson Elementary, and Welborn Elementarysupporting learners growth and independence within their academic settings. This assignment runs from ASAP through May 2027, offering stable, long-term engagement. Enjoy the autonomy to create your own schedule, with the average day consisting of visits to 1-3 school sites, allowing you to balance your workflow and meet the unique needs of your students. The chance to collaborate with dedicated education professionals and work closely with students from a range of backgrounds makes this role both challenging and deeply fulfilling.
Qualifications:
Active Kansas (KS) Occupational Therapist licensure required Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred Strong organizational and self-management skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic caseload across multiple school sites
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and individualized intervention plans for students with diverse needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support personnel to promote student success and inclusion Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports Travel between schools according to your personally designed daily schedule Participate in IEP meetings and share insights as part of a multidisciplinary team This contract offers the professional freedom to set your own schedule, the chance to foster real impact in students lives, and the stability of a long-term assignment within a collaborative educational community.
