This contract opportunity seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist skilled in serving diverse K-12 student populations. The role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to provide critical therapy services across multiple school sites near Shawnee, KS. Youll work with a caseload of approximately 50-60 students, crafting your own schedule and tailoring therapy interventions for optimal student success.

Key Qualifications:

Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Kansas (required) Previous experience in school-based settings is highly valued Expertise in developing and implementing IEP goals Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and school staff Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently for multiple campuses

Responsibilities:

Assess students needs and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver direct occupational therapy services in a variety of elementary and alternative school environments Collaborate with educational staff, caregivers, and other service providers Document progress and outcomes according to school and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for supports and accommodations Provide services at an average of 1-3 school sites per day, with autonomy to create your own weekly schedule Youll benefit from the flexibility offereddesign your workload and plan your school visits for maximum efficiency and personal satisfaction.
