Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist passionate about supporting students' growth and success. This contract role offers part-time hours in an engaging school environment near Arcadia, LA. You'll collaborate with dedicated teams across four school sites, making a positive impact in the district.
Key Qualifications:
Active and valid Louisiana OT license required Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Ability to provide services across multiple locations Comfortable supervising a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Openness to both onsite and temporary virtual service delivery Available for services on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and PreK evaluations on Fridays Previous experience with IEP processes and interdisciplinary teams is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students across multiple school sites Supervise and support assigned COTA to ensure quality care Conduct thorough assessments and PreK evaluations as needed Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals Document services and maintain accurate records according to state and district standards Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote student independence Travel between sites as part of the regular working schedule
