Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join our team at a Rural Health Clinic specializing in Family Medicine and Behavioral Health services. This is an outpatient position serving a pediatric and adult patient population. In this role, you will help improve patients' independence, daily functioning, and overall quality of life through individualized therapy plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. You will work alongside a collaborative healthcare team to provide care that promotes both physical and behavioral wellness. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a rural community while maintaining a flexible part-time schedule. Compensation is competitive Responsibilities Assess patients' functional abilities and develop tailored treatment plans to improve daily living skills, mobility, and independence across pediatric and adult patients Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, and self-care routines Implement therapeutic interventions focused on improving motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and cognitive function Collaborate with the clinic's family medicine and behavioral health team to coordinate care and support whole-patient wellness Document evaluations, progress, and outcomes accurately and adjust care plans as clinically indicated Work with individuals with disabilities, developmental and sensory conditions, autism, and those recovering from injury or illness Qualifications Current Louisiana Occupational Therapist license Experience with both pediatric and adult populations preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Previous outpatient or rural healthcare experience preferred, but not required Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Join us in delivering exceptional occupational therapy services that transform lives! Pay:
$55.00 - $65.00 per hour
