Requirements & Desired Experience:

Valid Occupational Therapy license Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy Comfort working with K-8th grade students, including a diverse range of abilities Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and families Ability to manage schedules and caseloads across two school sites Dedication to fostering student independence and participation within the academic setting

Key Responsibilities:

Assess students functional, sensory, and motor skills related to their academic performance Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in alignment with IEP goals Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support within classroom environments Offer strategies and resources to teachers and parents to enhance student success Document progress, adjust plans as needed, and participate in IEP meetings Travel between two nearby school sites as part of the regular routine This contract role provides the chance to build strong partnerships with educators and families while supporting students growth and development in a school setting.
