9601372-70769 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist working with K-8th grade students across two sites for the upcoming academic year. From mid-August through the end of the school year, youll play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic and developmental goals in an engaging and supportive environment.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

Valid Occupational Therapist license and eligibility to practice in the state Previous experience in a school setting is beneficial, but dedicated new graduates are welcome to apply Strong knowledge of pediatric OT practices and interventions tailored for school-aged children Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists Flexible and organized, able to manage a varied caseload across multiple campuses

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver OT services tailored to the unique needs of K-8th grade students, per IEP goals and 504 plans Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with school policies Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive and accessible learning environments Support students with fine motor, sensory, and self-help skills to facilitate classroom participation and independence Travel between two assigned school sites, ensuring all scheduled sessions and meetings are met Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions throughout the academic year Imagine making a daily difference in students abilities and confidence while enjoying the variety and growth this environment offers.
