Job Description

Upper Hand Therapy & Training, LLC (UHTT) is a private outpatient hand therapy and physical therapy practice in Arlington, Massachusetts. Our compassionate, highly trained and certified therapists evaluate and treat clients of all ages. We motivate, challenge, and inspire each other to provide the best possible care for our patients. UHTT clinicians work consistently one-on-one from intake to discharge, treating the whole person, not just the injury. UHTT is seeking an occupational therapist with 1-3 years of clinical experience and demonstrated competency in hand therapy, CHT or CHT-track preferred. The ideal candidate exhibits sound clinical knowledge, works independently, and effectively communicates and collaborates with colleagues and other healthcare professionals. Visit us at www.upperhandtherapy.com Responsibilities Rehabilitate patients with conditions of the hand and upper extremity Treat individuals affected by surgery, trauma and chronic conditions Evaluate impairment, develop and implement treatment plan, communicate effectively with patient Collaborate with referring clinicians to ensure continuity of care Contribute to the collegiality of UHTT, share clinical knowledge and support fellow therapists to provide excellence in care Requirements Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred; Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required (accredited OT program) Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an Occupational Therapist Credentialed as or eligibility for Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) 1-3 years minimum related experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven analytical abilities and sound clinical knowledge Experience crafting custom splints preferred Benefits Continuing Education Credits/professional development assistance Medical/Dental benefits Paid time off Flexible schedule 401K Opportunities for advancement
Pay:
$40.00 - $55.00 per hour
