Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity working with students as a school-based Occupational Therapist! This contract OT role is perfect for professionals passionate about supporting student success and development in educational settings. The openings are in the Plainville and Bellingham areas, each offering approximately 10 hours weekly, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30am to 1:30pm. Candidates can select a single location or combine both for additional hours and variety.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts Previous experience within school environments preferred Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy assessments and interventions Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with teams, students, and families Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and document sessions thoroughly Flexibility to work in either Plainville, Bellingham, or both
Role Highlights:
Conduct evaluations and provide therapy to support students' educational goals and functional skills Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions Collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure student progress Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding accommodations and strategies Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district requirements Foster a positive, engaging environment that helps students achieve greater independence These positions offer a flexible daytime schedule ideal for work-life balance.
