Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to make a significant impact on students' growth and development in an engaging school-based contract role near Quincy, MA! This full-time, onsite position offers 32.5 hours per week throughout the 2026-2027 academic year, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The specific caseload will be determined to match your skills and interests, ensuring a rewarding experience.
Skills & Experience Sought:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current Massachusetts OT license (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families Excellent communication, organization, and time management
Core Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group therapy to students across K-12, targeting fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills Develop and implement IEP goals, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, sharing insights to help shape student learning plans Maintain clear, timely documentation in compliance with school and district policies Educate school staff and caregivers on strategies to support student success within the classroom Adapt therapy approaches to foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment onsite Perks of this
