Licensed Occupational Therapist Saugus Rehab and Nursing - 5.0 Saugus, MA Job Details Per diem $62 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications OTR Full Job Description As a Licensed Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating residents, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions that promote functional independence and safety. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines Supervise and collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress Complete timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state, federal, and facility requirements Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning Educate residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and safety strategies Support discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current Massachusetts OT license (or eligibility) NBCOT certification required Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
