Join our dynamic care team at Parsons Hill Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Worcester! We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide top-notch patient care and contribute to our team's success. As an OT with Parsons Hill Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, you will assess, plan, and provide treatment to patients/residents, while collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes. Up to $45 an hour with weekly pay for standard hours
Key Responsibilities:
Screen patients/residents and develop personalized care plans Evaluate patients/residents and provide direct treatment in accordance with established plans of care Consult with patients/residents, caregivers, and physicians to ensure effective treatment and care Participate in team meetings and decision-making processes to drive quality care Document activities and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner Demonstrate knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations Communicate effectively with patients, residents, team members, and customers Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs
Requirements:
Must possess a degree in occupational therapy CEU's per state licensure requirements Active and unencumbered OT license in Massachusetts, or in the process of obtaining one Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills Ability to function effectively in multiple systems and interact with all levels of staff and customers Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands
