Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a school-based team in Fallston, MD. This rewarding opportunity allows you to work with students in both elementary and middle school settings, helping them develop the functional skills needed for academic success and participation in daily school activities. Job Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and state regulations. Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and parents. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions. Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records. Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing abilities, visual-motor integration, self-care skills, and classroom participation.

Caseload Information School-Based Occupational Therapist Position Elementary School:

4 days per week

Middle School:

1 day per week Mixed caseload of elementary and middle school students Collaborative and supportive educational environment Qualifications Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active Maryland Occupational Therapist License or eligibility to obtain licensure NBCOT Certification preferred Previous pediatric, school-based, or educational experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Apply Today!
