Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of elementary students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school setting near California, MD. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students across several school sites, working closely with educators and families to help students reach their potential. This role involves serving a caseload of 26 elementary-aged learners, providing them with essential OT services to support their participation and success at school. You'll be an integral part of a collaborative educational team, relying on your expertise to deliver individualized and group therapy, evaluate students needs, and help develop intervention plans. The assignment will extend through early June 2027, allowing for continuity and meaningful progress in students' educational journeys.
Ideal qualifications and desired experience:
Current and valid Maryland Occupational Therapy license (MD OT License required) Previous experience with pediatric or school-based OT, particularly in elementary settings Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work effectively across multiple campuses Commitment to evidence-based and student-centered practice Key responsibilities and duties: Provide direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of 26 elementary students Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and document progress Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals Travel between assigned schools within the district as needed Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for school-based services Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP processes This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a team that values your insight and experience.
