Qualifications & Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist license from the state of Maryland Proven experience or interest in working within school settings, particularly with infants, toddlers, and early childhood populations Ability to thrive in an itinerant role, traveling between locations as part of daily responsibilities (mileage is reimbursed) Strong assessment, planning, and documentation skills Excellent collaboration and communication abilities when working with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to infants and toddlers in developmental programs Assess students functional abilities and create individualized intervention plans Work closely with families to support carryover and generalization of therapy goals in home environments Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to ensure a coordinated approach to student services Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment progress, and communication with team members Effectively manage a varied caseload while adapting interventions to diverse learning needs This position features a flexible full-time schedule and the benefit of paid mileage for travel between locations, enabling you to design your workweek in a way that fits your life.
