Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Occupational Therapist eager to support infants and toddlers in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time contract role is based at a district office near Lexington Park, MD, focusing on providing vital services across early intervention caseloads. Youll collaborate within a supportive team environment, impacting young learners and their families while developing tailored therapy plans that foster growth and development.
Qualifications and Required Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist license for the state of Maryland Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings, especially with infants and toddlers, is highly preferred Strong knowledge of early childhood development and therapeutic interventions Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for effective team participation and family engagement Adaptable, proactive, and ready to start as soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate young children to determine their therapeutic needs and strengths Design and implement individualized therapy goals and intervention plans Collaborate with families, educators, and other service providers on the team Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance records per district and regulatory guidelines Attend district meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and offer expertise on developmental milestones and support strategies
