What you'll need to succeed: Active Occupational Therapy license in Maryland Previous experience serving schools or pediatric populations, ideally with infants and toddlers Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with families, educators, and caregivers Flexibility and adaptability within dynamic educational settings Proficiency in conducting assessments, designing individualized programs, and documenting progress in compliance with school and state requirements Key responsibilities: Provide targeted occupational therapy services to infants and toddlers in a supportive school-based program Evaluate motor, sensory, behavioral, and developmental needs through observation and formal assessment Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective intervention plans Maintain detailed records of assessments, goals, and progress for each child on your caseload Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated care and support Offer guidance and resources to parents and staff to maximize each child's development and participation In this engaging contract position, your expertise will help empower families while contributing to positive early learning experiences.
