Overview Company Next Step Rehab LLC Next Step Rehab LLC is a growing mobile outpatient rehabilitation provider . We are currently expanding our team and seeking dedicated, compassionate, and skilled Occupational Therapists (OT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care within Montgomery County, MD . In this role, you will work flexibly within community and home settings, helping diverse patient populations—including geriatric, orthopedic, and neurological outpatient clients—regain functional independence in their daily activities. You will assess occupational performance, adapt environments, and develop personalized treatment plans that focus on what matters most to your patients. Caseload & Availability Requirement Minimum Commitment:

Candidates must be able to commit to managing a caseload of at least 5 patients per week . Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities, activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental ADLs (IADLs), cognitive status, and home safety. Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans centered around client-specific occupational goals. Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions including neuromuscular re-education, cognitive training, energy conservation techniques, and upper extremity rehabilitation. Recommend and train patients in assistive devices , adaptive equipment, and home modifications to maximize safety and independence. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using our electronic medical records platform in accordance with state and federal regulations. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals —including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists—to ensure cohesive patient care and effective discharge planning. Manage your schedule independently while traveling to see patients within your assigned territory in Montgomery County. Qualifications & Requirements Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Maryland. Active Professional Liability Insurance required. Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation with auto insurance for travel within Montgomery County. CPR Certification (Basic Life Support). Experience in home health or mobile outpatient therapy is highly preferred, but passionate new grads or clinicians transitioning from traditional settings are welcome to apply. Proficiency with digital documentation tools ; experience with HelloNote EMR is a strong plus. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach to patient and family education. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
