Qualifications and Experience:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active state license to practice occupational therapy Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly valued Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and goal-setting Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to assess and adapt interventions according to individual student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas for support Develop and implement tailored therapy plans targeting fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to integrate strategies into classroom routines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs Provide ongoing documentation of student progress and adapt therapy goals as necessary Serve as a resource for families and school staff, offering insights and training to support student growth Envision yourself bringing your expertise to a vibrant school community, where every day brings new opportunities to impact student success and independence.
