Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity making an impact on K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist. Located in vibrant Rockville, MD, this school-based position offers the chance to support a diverse group of learners—helping each student reach their fullest potential. As a valued team member, you'll work closely with 25 students on your caseload, each presenting a variety of disabilities, within a supportive academic environment that believes every child can achieve greatness.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Active Maryland SLP license required Previous experience with a mixture of disabilities preferred Comfort and skill in school settings (K-12) Adaptable to teletherapy, home health, and healthcare settings as needed Effective communicator and collaborator with families and educational teams Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and caseload priorities

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to a caseload representing a variety of needs Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators and parents Use data to inform therapy plans and adjust interventions to maximize student progress Engage in regular communication with school staff and families regarding student development Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
