Must adhere to Policies & Procedures, EEOC, HIPAA standards. Perfect for a busy OT looking for extra work on their flexible timeline.
Occupational Therapist PRN:
We are seeking a licensed occupational therapist to join our growing team. You will be working with well clients who need to be assessed for safe home bound program to allow the well persons to thrive in their own homes. No hands on care. This programs focuses on home and person evaluation. Persons are well individuals to on board them into a home care program and new support system. Clients are seeking aging in place. Duties will include conducting a home assessment of clients in a two page check list document. A bachelor's degree in occupational therapy and a state license is required to be considered as a candidate. To be a successful canidate, you will need to have up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.
Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:
Conducting home assessments of clients per flexible home visit. Assessing home environments of clients and deciding what adjustments are needed. Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities, if needed. Maintaining professional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide clients with the best assessment program. Complying with federal, state, and local certification requirements.
Occupational Therapist Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from a university certified by the ACOTE (Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education) or AOTA (American -Occupational Therapy Association). Certified by the National Board for Certification. Compliant with state healthcare regulatory requirements. Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to take care of clients with different personalities. Comfortable using a computer for various tasks. Ability to assess enviroment conditions.

Pay:
$90.00 - $100.00 per hour
