9681878-04330 Job Description An exciting opportunity is available for a part-time Occupational Therapist to support young learners in an educational setting near Augusta, ME. This contract position starts as soon as possible and will continue through the end of the school year. Youll be working onsite, joining a collaborative environment dedicated to helping 3- and 4-year-old students build essential life skills. This flexible role offers between 10 and 14 hours per week, spread across 1.5 to 2 days. Your expertise will help children reach important developmental milestones and increase access to learning through targeted interventions.

Qualifications & Experience:

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Maine or eligibility for licensure Experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably in a school setting Strong understanding of school-based OT practices Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills Ability to adapt approaches based on individual student needs Commitment to working onsite

Key Responsibilities:

Assess the occupational therapy needs of 3- and 4-year-old students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to support student progress Document session notes, evaluations, and progress reports Participate in eligibility meetings and team consultations as required Ensure compliance with all state and district requirements Why consider this opportunity?
