Key Qualifications:

Valid and current Maine OT certification required Experience providing occupational therapy within a school setting strongly preferred Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for students ages PreK-8 Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families

Role Responsibilities:

Provide approximately 4 hours of direct occupational therapy services each assigned day, following IEP goals Complete accompanying indirect hours dedicated to documentation, planning, and communication Evaluate, assess, and monitor students' progress, adapting interventions as needed Participate in IEP meetings, consulting with the educational team to ensure the best outcomes for each student Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as school system procedures Serve as a resource and advocate for student independence and skill-building within the classroom setting Enjoy the benefit of working in a supportive, close-knit school environment, while having the flexibility to choose your workday.
