Beacon Health System is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing Outpatient Rehabilitation team serving the Kalamazoo and Battle Creek communities. The role will be based at our Battle Creek location but candidate will be required to float to our Beacon Health & Fitness facility at Kalamazoo. Position Overview As an Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate and treat patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, and functional conditions in an outpatient setting. You'll work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that improve quality of life and maximize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans. Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in an outpatient setting. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation team members to provide coordinated care. Educate patients and families on treatment goals, home exercise programs, and functional strategies. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Current Michigan Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure. 1 to 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience preferred. Previous outpatient rehabilitation experience preferred. Lymphedema training or certification strongly preferred. Ability to be primarily based at Battle Creek Health Park and float to KAL Health & Fitness Center as needed for patient coverage.
