Job Summary
EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' physical abilities, including assessments of physiology and anatomy knowledge relevant to pediatric care, as needed.
Develop and implement individualized goals and objectives focused on improving mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence.
Collaborate closely with teachers and child study team.
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP compliance.
Participate in professional development and training as required.
Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications
Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members.
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
