Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students through exceptional therapy and occupational therapy services. This position offers a chance to impact lives while enjoying a manageable schedule of 10 hours per week, working with students in four nearby schools—all within a convenient 10-minute radius. As an OT professional with experience in school settings and therapy, you'll join a collaborative educational environment starting as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year. With a caseload of 8 high school students (subject to slight changes), you'll focus on individual and group interventions designed to help students maximize their potential in their academic and everyday lives. The school day runs from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, making this an excellent fit for professionals seeking both flexibility and work-life balance.
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist required Experience in schools or educational settings strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt to changes in caseload and school environments
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct OT services to high school students on your caseload Assess student needs, develop treatment goals, and monitor progress Collaborate with educators and families to support student achievement Maintain documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards Travel between four schools (all within 10 minutes) as scheduled This contract role provides a unique chance to make a significant difference in students' everyday school experiences, all while working a concise, predictable weekly schedule.
