Qualifications:
Current, active Occupational Therapist license in Michigan Previous experience in schools, home health, or pediatric healthcare settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams Commitment to supporting students individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals Passion for working with diverse K-12 populations
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess students needs while creating tailored intervention plans Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to support academic success and independence Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom and home environments Document progress in line with school and regulatory requirements Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations for student success This position offers a weekly commitment of 35-40 hours, providing stability and the chance to form meaningful connections within the educational setting.
