Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a vibrant educational environment and make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students as a contract Occupational Therapist. This part-time role spans 3.5 days per week, allowing you a balanced schedule while using your specialized skills to help children reach their fullest potential. Your ability to collaborate, adapt, and nurture growth will be valued as you contribute to positive outcomes for students of varying ages and abilities. In this dynamic setting, you'll engage with educators, families, and support staff, delivering expert OT interventions tailored to individualized education programs.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Current state licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience with pediatric or school-based OT preferred Strong understanding of child development, sensory processing, and educational adaptations Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy for diverse K-12 populations Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students across K-12 grade levels Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with educators and families Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress within the school setting Consult with teachers and staff to adapt classroom activities and environments for student success Document assessments, goals, and progress in compliance with state and school guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations to support student achievement
