Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Valid state licensure to practice occupational therapy Professional experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and goal-setting in educational contexts Effective communication and teamwork skills Dedication to cultural competence and diversity in practice
Core Responsibilities:
Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans to address sensory, fine motor, and functional needs Collaborate with IEP teams and provide input for individualized goals Deliver targeted interventionsboth individual and group-basedthat support classroom participation Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes compliant with regulatory and district standards Engage with parents, caregivers, and staff to share strategies and resources for ongoing support Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings This contract role offers meaningful connections with students and the flexibility to work closely with passionate educators.
