Through the end of the 2026-2027 school year Job Description E-Therapy, powered by Edustaff, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, onsite school-based opportunity in Farmington Hills, Michigan . This position will support students across approximately four school locations , primarily at the elementary and middle school levels. The anticipated start date is December or January; however, an earlier start may be available for the right candidate. Position Highlights 1.0 FTE, onsite position Approximately 4 school locations Caseload of 40-50 students Primarily elementary and middle school settings Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard mileage rate for required travel between assigned school locations Position runs through the end of the 2026-2027 school year Opportunity to begin earlier than December/January based on availability Responsibilities Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine educationally relevant OT needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals Support fine motor, visual-motor, sensory, self-regulation, and functional school participation needs Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings Collect data and monitor student progress Complete required documentation and progress reports Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and related service providers Travel between assigned school locations as needed Qualifications Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current Michigan Occupational Therapist license or ability to obtain NBCOT certification School-based or pediatric experience preferred Familiarity with IEPs and special education services preferred Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Comfortable traveling between school buildings within the district Join E-Therapy, Powered by Edustaff If you're an OT looking for a full-time school-based opportunity in the Farmington Hills area , we'd love to connect!
