Assists people with mobility impairments to move easily around their homes; develops school and workplace settings that are accessible for individuals with physical or mental disabilities. May specialize in certain types of impairments or certain categories of patients.
About Our Center The Shoreline Center is a multidisciplinary pediatric outpatient therapy center providing Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and ABA services. We primarily serve children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental differences. Our team is collaborative, child-centered, and family-focused, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and functional outcomes. Position Summary We are seeking a licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat children with developmental, sensory, motor, and functional challenges, with a strong emphasis on supporting participation in daily routines, play, self-care, and school-related skills. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat pediatric clients using evidence-based, play-based, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and family goals Address areas including sensory processing, regulation, fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, self-care, feeding (if applicable), and functional participation Collaborate closely with Speech-Language Pathologists, BCBAs, RBTs, and caregivers to support consistent, interdisciplinary care Provide caregiver education, home program recommendations, and ongoing communication Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with clinic, payer, and state guidelines Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development Maintain a positive, supportive therapeutic environment for children and families Must be available to work after-school hours.
